The Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia officially launched the second phase of the 2026 National Internship Program, known as MagangHub, on Monday, September 21, 2026.
Darmawansyah, the Director General of Vocational Training and Productivity Development at the Ministry of Manpower, stated that the program is designed to provide fresh university graduates with practical experience before they enter the professional workforce. He emphasized that the initiative serves as a platform for participants to develop relevant competencies and gain professional exposure aligned with their specific fields of study.
To ensure a smooth transition into the program, the Ministry has advised participants to complete several preparatory steps. These include verifying placement details, ensuring contact information is active, and communicating directly with mentors or program organizers to confirm arrival times and locations. Participants are also encouraged to review their assigned roles and responsibilities and ensure all necessary administrative documents and equipment are prepared prior to their first day.
Darmawansyah noted that proactive communication and thorough preparation are essential for participants to maximize the benefits of the internship experience. The Ministry continues to monitor the implementation of the program to ensure it meets its objective of bridging the gap between academic education and industry requirements.
