Prince Andrew Arrested Over Alleged Epstein Links

Prince Andrew, also known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, was arrested on 19th February 2026 by Thames Valley Police in the UK. The arrest was based on suspicion of misconduct in public office, relating to alleged communications with Jeffrey Epstein. Authorities are investigating claims that Andrew may have shared confidential government or trade data with Epstein during his time as a UK trade envoy from 2001 to 2011. The arrest came in the wake of millions of documents released connected to the U.S. Epstein investigations. It’s worth noting that Andrew, aged 66, has not been convicted of any offence, and the investigation is ongoing. He has previously denied any wrongdoing linked to Epstein. Andrew was stripped of his royal titles and no longer performs royal duties. This arrest is seen as one of the most serious legal developments involving a contemporary member of the British royal family.
