President Joseph Aoun told a delegation of lawmakers on Wednesday that Lebanon will not compromise on matters concerning its rights, as the framework formula emerges as the best possible option already yielding results.
Addressing the lawmakers, Aoun emphasized that the framework formula has begun to show its effects, with Washington starting to listen to Lebanon. ‘Our goals are clear. We will not compromise on matters concerning Lebanon’s rights,’ Aoun stated.
The president noted that the Lebanese file is now on the US agenda, signaling increased international attention. His remarks come amid ongoing diplomatic efforts regarding Lebanon’s position in regional negotiations.
Aoun’s firm stance underscores the government’s commitment to protecting national interests while engaging with international partners.
