In La Romaine, the State of Emergency has prompted a decisive operation by the Enquiries and Operations Unit, supported by the TTPS K9 Unit. This coordinated effort, led by ACP Mystar and senior officers, targeted areas known for criminal activity. During a search in Embacadre, officers seized 248 grams of high-grade marijuana. The operation intensified on Lilian Street, where authorities searched the residence of Raphael Sandiford, a known offender linked to robbery and motor vehicle theft. In the search, a .380 auto pistol and two rounds of ammunition were found in Sandiford’s bedroom, leading to his detention. Investigations continue as law enforcement remains vigilant in combating crime during the State of Emergency.
