On Wednesday, June 10th 2026, a man who was recorded in viral social media videos brandishing a pistol and firing a shot into the air, sparked public concern. The incident took place in Union Hall, San Fernando. The videos surfaced during the early hours and quickly went viral, leading to an intensive police effort to locate the suspect.
By 1:30 p.m., the police had tracked the man to Building 32 Cypress Hills, Union Hall. The confrontation resulted in the suspect being shot during the operation. He was immediately transported to the San Fernando General Hospital for emergency treatment.
Unfortunately, the man was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival at the hospital. This fatal shooting occurred just hours after his actions were widely circulated on social media, drawing significant public attention and triggering a swift police response.
