In a concerning incident early Saturday morning, two police officers and their canine partners were injured when a marked police vehicle overturned in Penal. The accident occurred around 2:40 a.m. as Acting Corporal Ramkissoon of the Point Fortin Canine Unit was driving a police SUV along Penal Rock Road. Accompanied by Constable Boodoo and their two dogs, Diesel and Alpha, the officers were reportedly involved in an operation when an oncoming vehicle veered into their path near Angel’s Furniture Workshop.
