Hassan Johnson, a suspect in the murder of Police Constable Rommel Douglas, was shot and killed during a police operation late last night. The confrontation took place at approximately 11:35 p.m., marking a significant development in the investigation of Douglas’s death.

PC Rommel Douglas was tragically killed on July 28, 2026, while sitting in his car in Kelly Village, Caroni.
