In a shocking incident, a female police constable was found shot dead inside the San Fernando Municipal Police Station early on Sunday, April 19, 2026. Officers arriving for their shifts around 6 a.m. discovered the unresponsive officer with multiple gunshot wounds, prompting an immediate investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.
Adding to the gravity of the situation, the station’s firearms vault was discovered open and completely emptied. Reports indicate that approximately 58 firearms, including 50 Glock pistols, six shotguns, and two MPX firearms, along with over 3,000 rounds of ammunition, have been stolen from the facility.
