Police in Santo Domingo have intensified the search for a suspect known as “Hansel Boca Negra” after two officers were shot in separate incidents in the Sabana Perdida area.
The National Police announced that Cabo Jesús Heredia William Antonio and Mayor Andrés Pascual sustained injuries from gunfire. The incidents occurred on Sunday, and the police have deployed units from the DICRIM and elite forces to the zone.
According to the police statement, the suspect “Hansel Boca Negra” is believed to be responsible for the shootings. The operation remains ongoing, with authorities continuing to monitor the area for the suspect’s whereabouts.
