Polar low crosses, rain to return

A polar low has crossed the region, and rain is expected to return to the Yarra Ranges and Victoria. According to the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM), a cold front is forecast to sweep across Australia, bringing a dry weekend to an end with wet and windy conditions.

By Sunday, the BOM has predicted widespread rain and gusty winds will hit south-east Australia, with rain expected to continue into Monday. The Yarra Ranges, including areas such as Lilydale, can expect to be affected by the changing weather conditions.

Residents can expect a significant change in weather over the coming days, with the dry weekend giving way to a wet and windy start to the week.
