Pointe-a-Pierre Residents Demand Action Amid Alleged Break-Ins and Theft Concerns

Residents of Isaac Avenue in Pointe-a-Pierre are expressing alarm over a spate of alleged break-ins, thefts, and vandalism targeting their community. The claims, submitted to LiveZone Facebook, describe a group of individuals allegedly roaming the area and targeting private properties at all times of day.

According to residents, the stolen items range from crops in kitchen gardens to power tools, gardening equipment, appliances, and cash. A notable incident reportedly occurred around 9:30 a.m. on August 8, when a pensioner’s home was broken into, resulting in the theft of money and a flat-screen television.

Images allegedly linked to this incident reportedly capture an individual entering the property while dressed in a dress. However, the authenticity and context of these images have yet to be independently verified.

Residents further allege that the group responsible has intimidated community members by claiming connections at a local police station. Despite numerous reports to authorities, residents say they remain worried about their security.

Calls for increased police presence and intervention are growing among residents, as they seek to address their safety concerns. TG News has not independently confirmed the details of these allegations. Individuals with information on criminal activities are encouraged to contact the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.
