The People’s National Movement (PNM) has called a public meeting at Balisier House on Thursday, July 23, to address what it calls weeks of misinformation by the United National Congress (UNC). In a video statement, PNM representative Symon de Nobriga accused the UNC of spreading rumors and propaganda about the party’s headquarters. De Nobriga challenged the narrative that the PNM is hiding something, stating that the party has nothing to hide and will defend the truth. The meeting, scheduled for 6:30 p.m., will feature political leader Penelope Beckles and other speakers. The PNM frames the event as a stand for democracy, freedom, and against the ‘growing abuse of power’ under the UNC government. The public is invited to attend in person or follow via PNM digital platforms or I-95.5 FM.
