PNGDF graduates 30 new intelligence operators to strengthen national security

The Papua New Guinea Defence Force has graduated 30 newly trained intelligence operators, bolstering its capacity to assess the strategic environment. The graduates completed a specialized course designed to enhance the PNGDF’s analytical capabilities, equipping them with skills to support national security decision-making.

A PNGDF spokesperson emphasized the importance of the training, noting that the new operators will play a key role in identifying and evaluating threats. The graduation ceremony was held at a military facility, attended by senior defence officials.

This development comes as PNG continues to focus on strengthening its defence forces amid regional security challenges. The 30 operators are expected to be deployed to various units across the country.
