Police in the municipality of Esperanza, Valverde Province, arrested a man named Gabriel de Jesús Hernández Bonseñol, known as “El Pollero,” on a judicial warrant. The 30‑year‑old was detained during an operation conducted by the National Police’s Investigation Division (Dicrim) and the Preventive Police. The arrest was carried out under judicial order number 611‑1‑2023‑SAUJ‑01243, which relates to a robbery that harmed two victims in Montecristi: Crusito Rodríguez Reyes and Ana Mariana Espinal Goris. Hernández Bonseñol is currently held at the National Police Department in Esperanza and will be transferred to Montecristi, where he will be presented to the Public Ministry for further legal proceedings.
