A Pleasantville resident, identified as Michael Williams, met a tragic end on Saturday evening after being chased through several streets and lanes by gunmen. The incident occurred sometime after 5 p.m. on June 20, 2026, behind a house on Cedar Drive where Williams was found fatally wounded.
According to police reports, Williams was at home, seated in his gallery, when a car pulled up. Several men exited the vehicle, triggering a deadly pursuit. The men chased Williams through the area, firing several shots at him.
The pursuit continued through a number of lanes before reaching Cedar Drive. Here, Williams sustained fatal gunshot wounds. In addition to the gunshot wounds, Williams also suffered a broken leg during the chase.
Despite the efforts to escape, Williams tragically died at the scene. Investigations are ongoing as police continue to unravel the circumstances surrounding this brutal killing.
