PKS Polonus w systemie sprzedaży FlixBusa. „Zwiększamy dostępność połączeń autobusowych”

Since the end of October, tickets for selected PKS Polonus routes will be sold through the FlixBus app and website. The move is intended to make the carrier’s services easier to access for passengers in Poland and abroad, and to simplify trip planning with transfers by using a single sales network. PKS Polonus will continue to operate its routes and handle passenger service. In the first phase of the partnership, two lines will be included: Warsaw – Rawa Mazowiecka – Tomaszów Mazowiecki and Warsaw – Łódź – Turek – Konin. The collaboration adds 67 new stops to the FlixBus network, including Zubki Dużych, Wólka Jagielczyńska, Lechów, Czerniewice and Uniejów. The partnership is expected to expand to more than 127 stops, covering 65 new Polish towns. FlixBus has also made its connections available on the Koleo platform, which integrates various modes of transport and aims to broaden the reach of its services. “Each new stop in our network brings more travel options for passengers,” said Michał Leman, vice‑president for Eastern Europe at FlixBus. “Together with PKS Polonus we increase the availability of bus connections across the country, making it easier for residents of smaller towns to access the wide network of national and international FlixBus routes. We want travelers to have maximum freedom in planning trips, both in terms of available directions and departure times.” Piotr Smogorzewski, president of PKS Polonus, added that the collaboration represents another step in expanding the company’s sales channels. “Our goal is to increase the availability of our transport offer and reach new passenger groups while maintaining high standards of service and travel quality,” he said. “By having selected PKS Polonus routes on the FlixBus platform, our passengers gain an additional way to search for and purchase tickets through a popular channel with international reach. This also gives us a chance to reach people planning trips in Poland and foreign passengers looking for convenient bus connections.” FlixBus’s largest operational hub in Poland remains the country’s biggest bus market in Central and Eastern Europe. The operator offers connections to 547 cities in 23 countries, including 230 cities in Poland. Warsaw serves as the main hub, with 437 direct connections; from the “Warszawa Zachodnia” stop about 200 routes run daily.
