A Polícia Judiciária (PJ) inspector already facing trial for shooting two people, one of them a minor, has been involved in a new traffic confrontation with PSP agents. Luís Robalo, who serves in the Drug Trafficking Unit, is accused of disobeying a stop order after being caught driving in a bus lane in Lisbon. During the incident, a PSP officer reportedly used an extendable baton to break the rear window of Robalo’s service car. The inspector is currently being tried for two counts of qualified aggravated assault stemming from a street dispute in Odivelas where he shot two individuals. The new development adds to concerns about the conduct of law enforcement officers.
