A 58-year-old watchman fell victim to an unusual robbery in Scarborough on Wednesday night. While walking along Gardenside Street around 8:30 p.m. on July 23rd, 2025, the watchman was approached by a man who appeared to be following him. The suspect, described as approximately 6 feet tall with a dark complexion and medium build, assaulted the victim, delivering several blows before making off with a mere $17 and two slices of pizza. The Scarborough Police District, led by WPC Stewart, is currently investigating the incident, which has raised eyebrows due to the trivial nature of the items stolen.
