Some individuals with visual impairments have been unable to secure government support for their first home purchase due to accessibility issues with the digital application process. Applicants are required to submit their requests through the Family Social Support Information System, which is reportedly not fully adapted for users with visual disabilities.
As a result of these technical barriers, some eligible individuals failed to submit their applications within the required timeframe, leading to a loss of access to the financial assistance program. The Ministry of Social Security and Labour has been identified as the authority overseeing the system used for these applications.
