**Prague to Host Pickles Prague Festival in September 2026**
The Prague Exhibition Grounds will host the Pickles Prague Festival on September 19–20, 2026. The event, which focuses on the preservation of vegetables through pickling and fermentation, will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.
The festival aims to showcase a wide range of preserved produce, including traditional items such as pickled cucumbers, beets, and peppers, alongside less common varieties sourced from both the Czech Republic and international producers.
In addition to product tastings and sales, the event schedule includes educational programming. Workshops and talks are planned to cover various pickling and fermentation techniques, the nutritional benefits of fermented foods, and the historical role of preservation in global culinary traditions.
The festival is designed to be family-friendly, featuring a dedicated children’s area and live musical performances throughout the day. Admission to the event is free.
