Persija Jakarta has officially extended the contract of veteran goalkeeper and captain Andritany Ardhiyasa for the 2026/2027 season. Club president Mohamad Prapanca confirmed the decision, emphasizing Andritany’s leadership and loyalty as key factors.
‘Andritany is a figure who deeply understands Persija. His loyalty, leadership, and positive influence in the team are why we retained him for another season,’ Prapanca said in an official statement on Tuesday.
The 34-year-old goalkeeper has been with Persija since 2010, amassing 278 appearances and 94 clean sheets. He has won Liga 1 and the Piala Presiden in 2018, as well as the Piala Menpora in 2021.
Andritany is expected to mentor younger players and help integrate new signings as Persija aims for the championship. His experience is considered crucial for dressing room stability and defensive organization.
