PCL says share split to expand participation

Press Corporation Limited (PCL), a company listed on the Malawi Stock Exchange (MSE), announced on Thursday that it will split its shares. The move is intended to make the company’s shares more affordable and accessible to a wider range of investors.

According to the company, the share split will lower the price per share, thereby encouraging greater participation from both institutional and retail investors. PCL did not disclose the exact ratio of the split or the effective date in its announcement.
