President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has emphasized the urgent need to hold accountable those responsible for the anomalous implementation of government infrastructure projects, particularly in flood control.
According to Marcos, accountability is crucial in this matter. The President made these remarks during a presidential luncheon hosted by the Foreign Correspondents Association of the Philippines at Diamond Hotel Philippines in Manila on Friday.
Marcos’ statement comes as part of a broader call for accountability in government infrastructure projects. The President’s comments were reported by Ruth Abbey Gita-Carlos.
