Passenger Attacks Four Airport Staff After Being Denied Boarding in Prague

**PRAGUE** — A female passenger attacked four employees of ground-handling company Menzies Aviation at Prague Airport on Thursday evening after she was denied boarding for a flight to Rome.

The incident occurred at Terminal 2, near Gate C9, shortly after 8:00 p.m., according to *Zdopravy.cz*.

Authorities stated that the woman arrived late for a Ryanair flight. Following the refusal of entry to the aircraft, she became aggressive and targeted the ground-handling staff. During the confrontation, one employee intervened to protect a colleague and was bitten by the passenger.

Airport police responded to the scene, detained the woman using restraint equipment, and escorted her from the boarding area before handing her over to the Czech Police.

“The woman was late for the boarding gate, and after being denied boarding, she physically attacked an airport employee,” said Josef Urban, spokesperson for the Foreign Police Directorate. “Responding officers detained her using restraint equipment, and the case is now being investigated as disorderly conduct.”

The incident was also confirmed by Prague Airport spokesperson Jiří Hánich.

Four members of the Menzies team were involved in the incident, and the injured employees required medical treatment following the attack.
