Dinamo Zagreb secured a 2‑0 victory over Sunderland in the fourth round of the UEFA Europa League, winning the match at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland. The first goal came in the 22nd minute when Luka Stojković converted a penalty from 14 metres after a corner kick. Stojković’s shot was described as a “brilliant strike.” In the 39th minute, Dion Drena Beljo doubled the lead, assisted by Stojković. The goal was Beljo’s sixth in European competition this season and his 20th overall in all competitions. Around 2,000 members of the Bad Blue Boys, Dinamo’s ultras group, created a lively atmosphere in the English stadium. After the final whistle, players and supporters celebrated together. Dinamo’s players remained in front of the guest stand for nearly 20 minutes, sharing the moment with the fans. The club’s interim coach, Jerko Leke, who took over a few days earlier following the departure of Marij Kovačević, was praised for the win. The victory comes after Dinamo’s recent loss to Rudeš, a coaching change, and a period of poor results. The team returns home with one of its biggest wins of the season. During the celebrations, the Bad Blue Boys chanted Leke’s name, a gesture that was also directed at club president Zvonimir Boban.
