Ontario Provincial Police West Region Releases Civic Holiday Traffic Campaign Results
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) West Region has announced the results of its Civic Holiday long weekend traffic campaign. Between July 31 and August 3, officers conducted 2,107 traffic stops, resulting in 1,815 charges being laid. The campaign aimed to address negative driving behaviors that contribute to traffic collisions, deaths, injuries, and property damage.
