Guyana is set to launch an online passport application system within the next month as part of its broader digital transformation agenda. The initiative will allow citizens locally and abroad to apply for passports remotely, reducing long lines and improving efficiency. Officials say the system will integrate biometric data capture and complement other digital services such as e-passports and electronic border control systems.
