In Laren, the Oldtimer Meerijdag event raised a cheque worth €10,000 for Stichting Rollybus.
The donation was collected during the event, which took place two weeks ago, and will be used to replace an old bus with a newer secondhand vehicle later this year.
Stichting Rollybus said the funds will bring the organization one step closer to securing a replacement bus for its operations.
Oldtimer Meerijdag is a fundraiser that attracts vintage car enthusiasts and supporters of local community projects.
With the €10,000 contribution, the foundation plans to purchase a suitable replacement bus to improve its service offerings.
