O2 Park denies hosting the FOC Summer 2026 event.

The management of O2 Park has publicly disassociated itself from the recent FOC Summer 2026 event, following widespread confusion and controversy. Reports surfaced linking the popular Independence Day fete, also known as the Festival of Colour, to the Chaguaramas-based venue. However, O2 Park has clarified that the event was held at Pier 2, not their facilities.

In a statement issued shortly after the event on August 31, O2 Park management emphasized that their venue was not involved, contradicting media reports and social media posts that had circulated erroneous information. The official ticket for the event also confirmed Pier 2 as the designated location, running from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m.

The event garnered significant attention online, fueled by videos and photos shared by attendees. Notably, a vehicle was discovered with missing rims, raising concerns about security and conditions at the fete. Despite these incidents, O2 Park’s statement refrained from addressing specific occurrences, focusing solely on correcting the location error.

O2 Park has urged both the media and the public to accurately distinguish between the two venues in any ongoing or future discussions about FOC Summer. The management’s clear stance aims to prevent further misidentification and ensure the integrity of their brand.

As debates continue over the events of FOC Summer, O2 Park remains firm in its position, seeking to avoid any association with the incidents reported at Pier 2.
