On the evening of July 22, 2025, a couple’s romantic night took a terrifying turn when they were ambushed by armed robbers on the Cocorite Walkover. The 27-year-old male victim, accompanied by his fiancée, was approached by two men, one of whom brandished a black firearm. The gunman threatened the victim while the second suspect put him in a neck lock, allowing the armed accomplice to steal several valuables from the couple. After the robbery, both suspects fled the scene on foot. Authorities, led by PC Charles, are actively investigating the incident to bring the perpetrators to justice.
