NIBTT Apologizes for Delays, Preps for New Digital Platform Launch

The National Insurance Board of Trinidad and Tobago (NIBTT) has issued a public service advisory apologizing for delays in appointment availability. The delays, described as temporary, are attributed to the preparation for the launch of their new digital platform. This platform is a part of the EMPOWER Project and is designed to allow customers to access their information, submit and track claims, and conduct business online via a personal portal.

Additional causes for the delays include final system testing, the implementation phase, and reassignment of frontline staff, leading to reduced counter capacity. Despite the inconveniences caused, the ultimate goal of these changes is to deliver a more efficient and modernized service experience for all customers.

In the meantime, customers are advised to follow NIBTT’s social media channels, monitor public announcements for updates, and watch for additional appointment availability. The NIBTT has expressed gratitude to its customers for their patience during this transition period.

For further inquiries, customers can contact NIBTT through their website www.nibtt.net, phone number 625-4NIS (4647), or email at customercare@nibtt.net.
