A 19-year-old man was fatally shot by police in Mississauga, Ontario, following an investigation that began with a report of a shooting in downtown Toronto. The arrests were made in connection with a report received on Wednesday at approximately 5:50 pm, in which officers were informed of a person with a gun near The Esplanade and Lower Jarvis Street. The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is investigating the fatal shooting. Three people have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. The charges are related to the use of firearms.
