A newly introduced US visa integrity fee will cost Trinidad and Tobago nationals an additional US$250 when applying for a nonimmigrant visa. This fee, part of President Trump’s recent legislative package, increases the total cost of a B1/B2 tourist visa from US$185 to US$435, nearly TT$3,000. The fee is non-refundable and applies only to approved visa applicants across various categories, including visitors, students, and business travellers. While reimbursement may be available under specific conditions, details are still forthcoming. Other fees introduced include a US$24 charge for Form I-94 applications and a US$100 annual fee for pending asylum claims, all subject to annual inflation adjustments.
