New legislation equalising pensionable age ‘significant step forward’, says GGCA

The Gibraltar General and Clerical Association (GGCA) has praised new legislation that aims to equalize the pensionable age, describing it as a “significant step forward” towards fairness for workers. According to the GGCA, the reforms complete the equalization of the pensionable age for men and women, a change the union has long advocated for. The new legislation is intended to bring about fairness in the State Old Age Pension system.
