The Minister of Finance, Honourable Davendranath Tancoo, has appointed a new Board of Directors for the National Lotteries Control Board (NLCB). This announcement was made on July 21, 2025, through an official media release. The newly constituted board includes Mr. Ken Emrith as Chairman, alongside members Ms. Mohanie Ramnarine, Mr. Clarence Jagroopsingh, Mr. Parasram Brian Maharaj, Mr. Adam Razaack, Mr. Harandé Elie, Mr. Curley Kesar, and Ms. Brenda John. Minister Tancoo expressed gratitude for the appointees’ commitment to public service and their readiness to take on the responsibilities required for guiding the NLCB. The board’s mandate is to ensure strategic oversight and governance, focusing on transparency and efficiency in operations, which are essential for contributing to national revenue and development. Additionally, the Ministry of Finance acknowledged the contributions of previous board members to the citizens of Trinidad and Tobago.
