Naparima College Student Wins Prestigious CSEC President’s Medal

Reginald Mohammed, a student from Naparima College, has been awarded the prestigious 2024 President’s Medal for the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations. Known as the ‘Maths Whizz,’ Mohammed has demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements, earning him this highest honour for academic excellence in Trinidad and Tobago. His accolades include representing his country at the National Youth Science Camp in West Virginia, winning the Rotary Club Peace Day Competition and the HOMEE Secondary Schools Photography and Essay Competition. He also earned a Bronze Award in the Duke of Edinburgh International Award and received multiple Certificates of Distinction in Mathematics Olympiads. Beyond academics, Reginald is an active member of various school clubs and societies and has been selected as the Head Prefect for the academic year 2025/2026. The school community and faculty express their pride and admiration for his achievements and positive attitude.
