MTN Ghana Backs Homowo Festival with GH¢30,000 Donation to Ga Council

Telecommunications giant MTN Ghana has donated GH¢30,000 in cash and assorted items to the Ga Traditional Council ahead of this year’s Homowo Festival. The donation underscores MTN’s commitment to preserving Ghana’s cultural heritage, promoting community development, and strengthening ties with traditional institutions. The gesture was formally presented to the council by MTN officials. Homowo, a harvest festival celebrated by the Ga people, is one of Ghana’s most prominent cultural events. The support from MTN will assist the council in organizing activities associated with the festival.
