MSK Zilina Africa and its junior side, Soccer Engineers, have left Ghana to compete in the ARG Nerja Cup 2026 in Nerja, Málaga, Spain. The teams departed on Saturday, 7 November, and are scheduled to spend a week in Spain before heading to Italy for additional football programmes. MSK Zilina Africa plays in Ghana’s Division Two League, while Soccer Engineers compete in Division Three. This is the clubs’ second major international outing, following a football programme in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in 2022. The clubs aim to showcase their young players to international scouts and clubs, continuing their reputation for developing talent and creating pathways abroad. The tournament, organised by ARG Football Agency, is led by FIFA‑registered agent Aitor Román, who also serves as an official partner of MSK Zilina Africa in Ghana. ARG Football Agency has arranged opportunities for several Ghanaian players to join European clubs, including Kenneth Yeboah at Rapid Vienna (Austria), Yussif Haruna and Issah Seidu at MSK Žilina (Slovakia), Henry Opoku at Deportivo Alavés (Spain), and Solomon Gyan at MFK Bytča (Slovakia). Román regularly visits Ghana to scout talent, engage local clubs and academies, and help young footballers pursue professional opportunities in Europe. The ARG Nerja Africa Elite Showcase will pit the Ghanaian teams against youth sides from established Spanish clubs such as UD Almería, Granada CF, Málaga CF and Atlético Madrid, giving African talents a chance to test themselves against high‑level opposition.
