‘Mouttxt’ Nicholas Mouttet Faces Charges for Obscene Language and Reckless Driving

Nicholas Mouttet, a social media personality popularly known as ‘Mouttxt’, is facing multiple charges following an incident that transpired on Friday night in Port of Spain. The 29-year-old resident of Westwinds, Diego Martin was reportedly driving his Nissan Tiida along Arapita Avenue, Woodbrook, at approximately 10 p.m. on June 26.

According to the police, officers on duty observed Mouttet allegedly driving in a reckless manner which prompted the interception of his vehicle. The situation reportedly escalated when Mouttet allegedly used obscene language in a public setting. It is claimed that he resisted arrest multiple times before he was successfully apprehended.

Mouttet has been charged with using obscene language, resisting arrest, and reckless driving. He is expected to make a court appearance to respond to these charges.

As per the standard procedure in criminal proceedings, these charges are allegations at this stage and Mouttet is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
