Five-Car Collision Near Brentwood, Chaguanas – Traffic Quickly Restored
Chaguanas, Trinidad & Tobago – Sunday, September 14, 2025 (TG News):
A five-vehicle collision occurred this morning along the southbound lane of the Solomon Hochoy Highway near the Brentwood area in Chaguanas.
The road was wet from early morning showers, which may have contributed to the crash. It is believed one vehicle was involved first, forcing others to brake suddenly and leading to a chain reaction involving five cars.
Emergency crews, including police, ambulance, and a wrecker service, responded swiftly and quickly got the situation under control. One woman was taken away by ambulance, but there are no reports of serious injuries at this time.
At least three vehicles sustained significant damage, while others suffered moderate impact. Thanks to the rapid response, traffic was restored within a short time and is now flowing smoothly through the area.
Motorists are advised to proceed with caution on wet roads and keep a safe following distance to prevent similar accidents.
