Mother Accused of Killing Daughter by Strangulation as Police Prepare Charges

A post-mortem examination has confirmed that a 7-year-old girl died from manual strangulation in a suspected domestic incident. The child’s mother remains under police guard in hospital and is expected to face a murder charge.
