A 67-year-old man from Morvant was robbed twice in quick succession while purchasing produce along Prince Street, Port of Spain, on the morning of December 6, 2025.
Police reports indicate that around 8:30 a.m., the victim returned to his parked vehicle after shopping. As he opened the left rear door, an assailant approached and violently snatched a wristband valued at $9,000 from his left wrist before fleeing.
Minutes later, the same suspect reportedly returned—this time with three other men. The group confronted the elderly man and forcefully ripped a gold chain valued at $6,000 from his neck. They also grabbed $120 in cash that had been left on the vehicle’s front passenger seat before escaping once again.
The shaken victim contacted police, and officers from the Port of Spain Division are continuing investigations into the double robbery.
