Mixed Weather Conditions Expected for Trinidad, Tobago, Windward and Leeward Islands

The official weather forecast for Friday, 3rd of April 2026, indicates a mostly sunny day for Trinidad, Tobago & The Windward Islands, despite the possibility of brief, isolated showers. However, there is a low (30%) chance of a heavier downpour during the afternoon, with the Western and hilly areas being more prone. As night falls, expect a fair and cool climate, save for the potential of an occasional passing shower. Should a heavy shower occur, inhabitants should brace for gusty winds and possible street flooding.

On the Leeward Islands, the weather is predicted to be fair to partly cloudy, with brief showers and a minimal to medium chance of a heavier shower or thunderstorm. Nevertheless, a gradual improvement is anticipated by late afternoon.

As for temperatures, Piarco recorded a minimum of 24.1°C last night, with today’s maximum expected to reach 32°C. In Crown Point, the minimum temperature last night was 24.0°C, with the day’s high expected to be 31°C. Sea conditions are moderate with wave heights of up to 2.0m, increasing to 2.5m in the Leewards, in open waters and up to 1.0m in sheltered areas.
