Authorities have discovered the body of 70-year-old Gilbert Elias, also known as “Cokes,” in Valencia, following his disappearance over the weekend. Elias was reported missing after leaving his home on Saturday evening, allegedly to repair a washing machine, but never returned. Witnesses reported seeing his green Honda Vezel being driven at high speed by an unidentified masked individual, with Elias inside. His cellphone was later found discarded along Cumaca Road. Police found Elias’ body the next morning, partially hidden in bushes off the roadway. He had a small injury above his right eye at the time of discovery. The District Medical Officer confirmed his death at the scene. Investigations by the Homicide Bureau Region II are ongoing, and Elias’ vehicle remains missing.
