Missing Man Kungie Found Safe in Canada

Sahadeo “Tang” Kungie, who was reported missing earlier this month, has been found safe at his home in Canada. Kungie had been missing since January 11, 2026, after he left his temporary residence in Ravine Sable, Longdenville to buy food nearby. His disappearance triggered a massive search effort involving the Hunters Search and Rescue Team and the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service. The search concluded when Kungie contacted his daughter in Canada via video call, confirming his safety. His wife, Usha, remains in Trinidad and Tobago, as Kungie had taken her passport when he left.
