Miss World Uganda Elle Muhoza wears gown inspired by seven layers of a C-section

**Miss World Uganda Elle Muhoza Debuts Couture Gown Inspired by C‑Section Layers at Vietnam Fashion Fest**

Nha Trang, Vietnam – On Thursday, August 27, Miss World Uganda Elle Muhoza walked the stage at the 17th edition of the Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest, “Soul of Heritage,” wearing a couture gown that pays tribute to motherhood and the childbirth process. The garment, titled *The Layers of Life*, was designed by Keesha Abdallah.

The gown incorporates four colors—white, yellow, pink and red—each representing one of the seven anatomical layers that surgeons cut through during a caesarean section: skin, fat, fascia, rectus muscles, peritoneum, uterine muscle and the amniotic sac. Abdallah explained on Instagram that the colors were chosen to symbolize “a stage, a texture, or a transition” in the journey of bringing life into the world, and that they were not intended to represent any particular race.

Abdallah said the design was inspired by her own experience as a new mother and was created to celebrate womanhood, the human body and the miracle of life. The gown has received praise from viewers, including women who have undergone C‑sections, who described it as a powerful and meaningful piece.

The event, which also featured Miss World contestants presenting couture designs, is part of the grand finale of the 73rd Miss World Festival. The finale is scheduled for September 5 in the coastal city of Nha Trang and coincides with the Miss World Organisation’s 75th anniversary.
