‘Medz Boss’ Apprehended in $17,500 Gold Chain Heist

Notorious Trinibad artiste, Joseph Olliviere, popularly known as “Medz Boss”, was apprehended in Port-of-Spain on September 10th, 2025, for his alleged involvement in a robbery incident. The incident occurred at 5:00 a.m. when a man was reportedly robbed of his gold chain worth $17,500 near the Port of Spain Ferry Terminal. Swift action by the Inter-Agency Task Force led to the interception of a vehicle associated with the crime at 19th Beetham Gardens. The stolen chain was recovered and both Olliviere and a second suspect, Hasan Jack, were detained. Olliviere is not new to legal troubles, having been charged in 2021 for gang involvement. Investigations into the recent robbery are underway.
