**Maxime Kornachuk Selected for NFB‑TIFF Film Project**

Maxime Kornachuk, a graduate of the Multimedia Communication program at the University of St. Boniface, has been chosen as one of five creators for a new film project produced by the National Film Board of Canada (NFB) in partnership with the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

The project, which will be presented at TIFF, focuses on themes of identity and memory. Kornachuk, who has expressed a particular interest in exploring these subjects, said, “À la rivière Rouge, il fallait qu’on cache qui on est.”

The collaboration between the NFB and TIFF aims to support emerging filmmakers and bring fresh perspectives to the festival’s programming.
