MAURITIUS PRESIDENT DENIES ROLE IN CONTROVERSIAL SECURITY UPGRADES

Mauritius President Dharam Gokhool has denied any involvement in the planned security upgrades to his private residence, which have sparked a public controversy. The upgrades are estimated to cost Rs 20.3 million.
