Man Perishes in New Grant House Fire

A devastating fire incident took place on Sunday evening, causing the unfortunate loss of a 40-year-old man’s life in New Grant. The victim, identified as Armanath Ramnarinesingh, was in his two-storey house when it was consumed by the blaze. The fire, which started around 7:00 p.m. on December 7, 2025, had already heavily engulfed the building on Frederick Branch Road by the time fire officials arrived on the scene. Investigations are currently underway to establish the cause of this tragic event.
